Dr sci vet. med, Slobodan Novak, established Veterinary Practice "Novak". He graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Zagreb in 1973. He got his MA degree in 1982. In 1995 he was awarded a PhD for his thesis on canine reproduction entitled Reproduction by means of artificial insemination using frozen semen He has spent more then 25 years dealing with canine medicine cases. He has given many lectures both to veterinarians and pet owners. He is an international judge for German Shepherds. His particular field of interest is reproductive problems of dogs.

Nikoleta Kostić - Novak, DVM BVSc MRCVS, surgery specialist, graduated in 1995 from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Belgrade. She has attained her surgery specialist degree in 1997. From 2000-2002 she expanded her professional knowledge in Great Britain. She became a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS) in 2002. She obtained three parts of ESAVS (Europan School of Advanced Veterinary Studies - certificate in Small Animal Cardiology, and continuing to expand her knowledge in the veterinary cardiology area by attended June Boon’s Echocardiography courses ( She is a member of the Scientific and Professional Committee of Serbian Association of Small Animal Practicioneres (SASAP). She is also a member of the Editorial Board of the SASAP Bulletin. She is the leader of the Blue Dog Project in Serbia. For the publishing house "Pčelica" ( Nikoleta wrote a book for children "Get to know your pets". In 2011 for the same publishing comapny she wrote six picure books about domestic animals for children. Her special interests are small animal cardiology and echocardiolography, soft tissue surgery, veterinary acupuncture, but also education of the chlidren on safe behaviour towards the pet animals.

Denis Novak graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Belgrade in 1998. From 2000 – 2002 he completed his post graduated training in the University of Cambridge - Veterinary School gaining the MRCVS status (Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons). In 2002 he finished specialized training in diagnostic imaging for the skeletal diseases of dogs and cats in Switzerland and Germany. Since 2002 he holds European license for radiological assessment of hereditary skeletal diseases in small animals. He is member of Gesellschaft für Röntgendiagnostik genetisch beeinflusster Skeletterkrankungen bei Kleintieren e.V (GRSK) and The International Elbow Working Group (IEWG). He is one of the founders and partners in Veterinary Clinic Novak with referral and second opinion service in diagnostic imaging, neurology, orthopedics, cardiology, soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology and internal medicine. Denis is active member of several international veterinary organizations, being involved in the boards and in their work. Denis is particularly active in work within SASAP, FECAVA and WSAVA. He is Board member of FECAVA and he is a President of Serbian Association of Small Animal Practitioners and FVE/UEVP representative for Veterinary Chamber of Serbia. He was actively involved in organization of more than sixty scientific meetings, congresses and workshops throughout the European region. Denis is recognized international speaker in several courses and conferences in Europe on small animal diagnostic imaging, soft tissue surgery and reproduction.

Tatjana Stojković graduated in 2003 from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Belgrade. After one year of training period Tatjana is now employed in Veterinary Practice "Novak". Her particular fields of interest are haematology and laboratory diagnostics. She especially enjoys working with
exotic pets and cats.

Neven Novak graduated in September 2005 from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Belgrade. He started to work in Veterinary Clinic "Novak" right away. His fields of interst are small animal internal medicine and behaviorism.

Ivana Ljujić graduated in October 2008. from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Belgrade. Straight after the graduation, Ivana has started working in Veterinary Surgery Novak. Her fields of interest are small animal pediatrics, general nursing care and care of hospitalised patients.
