During their time in the U.K. they attended lectures and gained practical experience with many leading authorities in veterinary medicine such as Mr Mike Herrtage, Dr Dick White, Dr Peter Jackson, Prof. Peter Holt, Ms Jelena Ristic, Dr Alex GermanDr Martin Owen, Mr Dan Holdon, .. They made good contacts with them which allow them to consult them professionally whenever needed.

Nikoleta and Denis had been in the U.K. in 1996 and 1998 with the purpose of expanding their professional knowledge. From 2000 until 2002 Nikoleta and Denis Novak again stayed in the U.K. for the same reason. Most of their time they spent in Cambridge Veterinary School (


   They also spent some time at London and Bristol Veterinary Schools and also in some leading small animal practices such as AshCroft Veterinary Surgery and Wylie and Partners Veterinary Centre

During their stay in Great Britain they
attended the largest congress of small animal practitioners on two occasions - BSAVA Congress in Birmingham.

During the summer of 2001 Denis and Nikoleta were hosts in Belgrade to their British colleagues: Jelena and Brian Catchpole, Martin Owen and Laura Cox and Allison and Alex German.

In July 2002 Nikoleta and Denis passed the exam
of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons
and became members of this elite organization.
